Margot Robbie to Set Sail in Pirates of the Caribbean
2017’s Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales was the last time that Jack Sparrow and gang sailed the seas. Now they will set sail again with a new leader manning the ship. No longer will Johnny Depp’s Jack Sparrow bless our screen but a new face:
Guess that Movie Star!
Staring in this spin off is Birds of Prey‘s Margot Robbie. Her story will be completely new to the franchise and be female led. Details for this movie are locked in a treasure somewhere and it will hopefully be uncovered soon.
margot robbie is playing harley quinn, she played tonya harding, Queen Elizabeth, and jane porter. she might play tinker bell, and now she’s gonna play barbie and star as a pirate in pirates of the caribbean, she truly has the range

But where is Jack Sparrow?
A reboot of the Pirates of the Caribbean series is already in development. However, there are rumors that Johnny Depp won’t be in that one either. According to Buzzfeed:
“This movie is separate to the upcoming Pirates of the Caribbean reboot, which, as of late 2019, was in early development with Craig Mazin and Ted Elliott. Currently, it’s not clear whether or not Johnny Depp will be in said reboot amidst ongoing legal trouble with ex-wife Amber Heard.”
The fifth installment proved to be the one of the worst ones bringing in $795 million worldwide. To put that in perspective, Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest brought in $1.066 billion worldwide. Hopefully the new female-led Pirates movie will revive this franchise and do better than the previous one.

What about the Pirates of the Caribbean Ride?
With the addition to new characters in the realm of these movies, something I thought of was what about the Pirates of the Caribbean ride at the various Disney Parks. There is no word on whether the ride will be updated to reflect these characters, but wouldn’t it be great to see a Margot Robbie animatronic singing “Yo Ho (A Pirate’s Life for me)” next to Jack Sparrow?
Even though details are scarce, the anticipation from people about a female-led Pirates movie is unwavering. Hopefully, there will be more details about the movie soon and we’ll see Margot Robbie and her band of pirates will grace our screens not too much later.
