Disneyland Paris Welcomes Ratatouille: The Adventure!
Disney Paris is ready to open up a new attraction! The ride, Ratatouille: The Adventure, offers park goers the chance to see from the perspective of a rat! Based on the 2007 Disney Pixar film, Ratatouille, the ride takes a turn through the kitchen in Chef Gusteau’s restaurant.
Pixar animators created all of the visuals for the attraction and Imagineers brought the experience to life. The project took nearly six years to be completed. Costing $270 million dollars to produce, the attraction displays cultural and architectural French elements.
It’s a three Michelin star experience!
The ride brings guests through the kitchen, scurrying between the feet of busy cooks and hiding under counters and carts. It even takes a turn into the refrigerator, which shows off a hanging fish which is nearly 25 feet long as well as a one ton ham!

Additionally, throughout the refrigerator, references are made to the characters of the movie. Linguine is written across a container of olive oil and Gusteau is featured on a bottle of sparkling wine.
Guests get the chance to scamper around in trackless “ratmobiles,” which allow for friends to enjoy the attraction side by side.
Next time you’re in Paris, follow Remy the rat through an exciting adventure and explore Chef Gusteau’s bustling kitchen!
