Previously, three employees at the park tested positive for the COVID-19 virus. Even with that information the park remained open with some limitations on parades, limiting seating for indoor shows and outdoor shows. The original message to guests read: “Disneyland Paris is open and welcoming guests. We are in regular contact with the French authorities, and based on their direction, we have temporarily amended some experiences and operations.”
However, the announcement was made that despite their efforts the park would close.
